Not all party anthems last the test of time, but Beastie Boys‘ 1986 classic “No Sleep Till Brooklyn” is one of them. Produced by Rick Rubin, the track’s metal guitar riff, hard-hitting drums, and catchy hook are still heard in bars and clubs around the world.

Now, three decades later, turntablism legend and Beastie Boys DJ Mix Master Mike has flipped the track. “This remix is a valuable weapon in every DJ’s arsenal,” Mike tells us. “It’s stadium certified.”

Legendary turntablist and former Beastie Boys DJ Mix Master Mike has enlisted DJ QBert for an original track called “Channel Zektar.” The spaced-out, Reptilian-themed piece features intricate scratching over battle-style production.

Mike and QBert have a long history together, having both been members of the Invisibl Skratch Piklz. They also won the DMC World DJ Championship together in 1992 as the Rocksteady DJs (with DJ Apollo) and as a duo in 1993.
