Comedian Anjelah Johnson Drops Hip-Hop Album

Bon Qui Qui

Comedian Anjelah Johnson has released a hip-hop album titled Gold Plated Dreams under her alter ego, Bon Qui Qui.

The original character arose from the Mad TV sketch ““King Burger”” and followed Johnson’s stand-up routine, ““Nail Salon”,” which went viral and made her an Internet sensation. Bon Qui Qui has since been viewed and replicated by over 65 million people worldwide.

Here’s a skit that features a cameo from A$AP Rocky:

A$AP Rocky’s ‘Lord Pretty Flacko Jodye 2’ Receives Bass-Heavy Remix from 1DAFUL

1DAFUL

Last August, our in-house producer DJ Primetyme discovered a Canadian duo called 1DAFUL when he came across their remix of Rae Sremmurd’s “No Flex Zone.” DJcity has since shared a few of their remixes, including their latest which is a complete flip of A$AP Rocky’s new single, “Lord Pretty Flacko Jodye 2.” 1DAFUL’s rework includes g-house and trap drops, both of which have plenty of bass and a vibe that’s about as current as it gets.

Behind-the-Scenes of Skrillex and A$AP Ferg’s Bonnaroo ‘SuperJam’ Performance

Last year, Skrillex, A$AP Ferg, and Zedd performed A$AP Rocky’s hit single “Wild for the Night” during the annual “SuperJam” at the Bonnaroo festival. Half a year later, a behind-the-scenes video has been released which shows Skrill and Ferg planning for the event, along with a portion of the performance itself.

The video is part of a seven-episode documentary series about the jam, which also featured Damian Marley, Ms. Lauryn Hill, and Janelle Monae, alongside members of The Doors, Grateful Dead, and Incubus. You can watch all the episodes at AT&T’s U-verse website.

A$AP Rocky – Wild For The Night ft. Skrillex & Birdy Nam Nam [Music Video]

A$AP Rocky drops visuals for his latest single off LongLiveASAP and just like his style, it’s far from conventional. Rather than including expensive cars and strippers, A$AP and his crew traveled to the Dominican Republic and filmed in a local slum.

The video includes Skrillex and A$AP’s mob cruising around in scooters and ends with a dope live performance. Props to A$AP for including Skrill in the video (how often do you see producers in official music videos these days?).
