Steve Aoki on Being “The World’s Hardest-Working DJ” [Video]

In addition to playing 300 shows a year across the globe, Steve Aoki also runs Dim Mak – a growing company with record label, event and clothing divisions. He also owns four restaurants.

In a new video with Forbes (see above), the superstar DJ and producer discusses how he keeps his work life together and still enjoys touring at the height of his career. You might be surprised with some of the lifestyle choices he’s made.

While we can’t say for certain that Aoki is “The World’s Hardest-Working DJ” (as Forbes has branded him) — few DJs are able to juggle this many projects and he’s definitely a top contender. Aoki’s vision, discipline and hustle is inspiring and up-and-comers can learn a lot from him.

Earlier this week, Aoki was ranked the eleventh highest paid DJ in the world by Forbes — earning $14 million in 2013 alone.
