Steve Aoki Addresses His Critics
From DJ Jazzy Jeff to The Gaslamp Killer, Serato has a reputation for producing videos that feature some of the world’s most respected and forward-thinking DJs. The company has expanded their subject matter though, as their latest set of videos feature the immensely successful yet controversial Steve Aoki. The Dim Mak boss has apparently been a Serato user since the mid-2000s and relies on it heavily.
While most videos about Aoki usually focus on his growing empire, the first in Serato’s two-part series has a much different tone. Within minutes, the superstar DJ/producer admits that he’s one of the most criticized DJs and addresses the backlash.
The second video is more interesting from a technical standpoint, as it features Aoki’s tour manager Dillon Anderson discussing Aoki’s DJ setup and why Serato Video is crucial to his performance.
