Serato has announced that they’re discontinuing Scratch Live and integrating it with Scratch DJ. The new software will be called Serato DJ 1.5 and include DVS support.
The change is intended to relieve Serato from the frustration of developing three different programs (Scratch Live, DJ, DJ Intro).
According to Serato’s CEO Sam Gribben, “Serato DJ is our platform for the future, but we will support Scratch Live until 2015.”
