When Dreams Come True! | Reloop’s 7-inch RP7 Turntable Reviewed

Ever since Biz Markie (RIP) showed off his custom built 7-inch Technics 1200 turntables back in 2013, many DJs who love to play vinyl 45s have dreamt about having professional-quality mini turntables of their own. Well, it’s Reloop who have stepped in to make those dreams a reality with the RP7, a direct drive pro-level deck designed strictly for use with 7” records. Mojaxx gives them a full review on the new episode of Beatsource Tech.

The Wait Is Over! | Rane’s One MKII Serato Controller (finally) Reviewed

The One, Rane’s first all-in-one controller for Serato DJ Pro, was a very successful product, but being a few years old, was starting to seem a little dated, as new software features came along. The One MKII was first shown off at the NAMM show, 7 months ago, which some argue was a little premature, but ever since then, DJs have been eagerly awaiting it’s release – and now it’s here. Beatsource Has Just Changed EVERYTHING | Explaining The DJ Exclusives Program

Beatsource recently launched its DJ Exclusives program, which has been 20 years in the making. It’s built around an entirely new, never been done licensing model, and means that DJs can access the types of remixes and edits which have previously only been found on record pools, but in a way which ensures both the original rights holders and the DJs themselves get fairly compensated for their work.
