Mike Will Made It talks Jay-Z’s “Beach is Better” [Video]

In a new interview with Mike Will Made It, the in-demand producer discusses his 56 second banger “Beach is Better” from Jay-Z’s Magna Carta Holy Grail.

When asked why the track is so short, Mike Will said that Hov declined to record a hook and make it a full song telling him, “we’re gonna see how they eat it up…this is the beginning of whatever we’re about to build.”

The video also features Mike Will discussing Jay’s legendary status and the importance of working with both legends, and up-and-comers.
