Legendary Jazz Musician George Duke Dies
Legendary jazz musician George Duke passed away today at the age of 67. We’re sad to hear the news and this post is dedicated to his impact on hip-hop, dance music and beyond.
While Duke’s solo catalog is impressive in itself, he also produced and performed on many albums and has been sampled by dozens of hip-hop artists. Some in the hip-hop community have already reacted to Duke’s passing, including Questlove from The Roots:
