Dr. Dre Sues Death Row Records Over Unpaid Royalties
Dr. Dre is suing his former label Death Row Records over unpaid royalties totaling more than $3.05 million, says Radar Online. The GRAMMY-winning producer alleges that Death Row owes him a combination of mechanical, artist-producer and digital sales royalties.
Death Row’s previous owner Suge Knight declared the company bankrupt in 2006. The current owner, WIDEawake Entertainment, purchased the label for $18,000,000 in 2009 through an auction.
