AlphaTheta DDJ-FLX2 Review: A Beginner DJ’s Dream Controller?

With a street price of under $200 in the US, the arrival of the DDJ-FLX2 controller from AlphaTheta is a sign that the company is targeting not just professional DJs, but beginners as well. With support for Rekordbox, Algoriddim’s Djay, and Serato DJ Lite, and both computers and mobile devices, the FLX2 lives up to its name by being a highly flexible as well as affordable device, which could see it appearing under a lot of trees this Christmas.

Prime Go… Again? Denon DJ PRIME GO+ Review

The PRIME GO from Denon DJ was a unique product when it first launched back in 2020 – a fully featured, battery-powered standalone DJ system, which was small enough to fit in a backpack. Nearly four years on, the company has just announced its successor, the PRIME GO+. It may have minimal hardware changes, but do the upgrades to Engine OS mean it’s still a good buy in 2024?
