A-Trak Discusses New Project with Lex Luger, ‘Low Pros’
A-Trak is a busy guy to say the least. In addition to his work as a solo DJ/producer, being one-half of Duck Sauce and running Fool’s Gold Records, the legend recently formed a new group called Low Pros with famed hip-hop producer, Lex Luger.
In a recent interview with VladTV, the Brooklyn-based DJ/producer spoke on how Low Pros formed, their production process, and how the group is intended to be a bridge between Atlanta’s hip-hop scene and the electronic world.
“It’s very futuristic but still anchored in that authentic Atlanta sound.”
A-Trak also discussed why he chose to release their debut EP for free and how that strategy is an integral part of his label.
