A Brief History of DJs Being Kicked Off the Decks


With the rise of EDM and megaclubs across the globe, there’s been increasing reports of DJs getting kicked off the decks for playing the “wrong” music. Many of these situations have resulted from clubs looking to appease high-paying and/or influential patrons.

To shed light on this problem, the folks over at Do Androids Dance recently put together a list of famous DJs who’ve been asked to stop during their sets. Check out the list here.
