Sage The Gemini Responds to XXL’s Comments
In a recent interview with Q104-7 FM’s Crisco Kidd, Bay Area rapper Sage the Gemini responded to comments made by XXL’s Vanessa Satten on why he wasn’t selected for their 2014 Freshmen Class.
Sage said that he holds “no hard feelings” towards the company but he also made it clear that he’s not interested in collaborating with them.
XXL’s annual Freshman Class issue is one of the most coveted and discussed magazine issues in the industry. Previous picks include J. Cole, Wiz Khalifa, Big Sean, Kendrick Lamar, YG, Macklemore, French Montana, Future, Kid Ink, Iggy Azalea, among others.
