Mojaxx Reviews The Pioneer DJ XDJ-RX3

AlphaTheta Corporation has announced the release of the new, portable XDJ-RX3 from its Pioneer DJ brand. This 2-channel performance all-in-one DJ system has new features from the club-standard CDJ-3000 multiplayer and DJM-900NXS2 mixer, plus a brand-new 10.1-inch touch screen. Like before, you can choose whether to play rekordbox-analyzed tracks from USB drives or connect a laptop to unlock rekordbox Performance mode. As well, support for Serato DJ Pro is also included – coming in early 2022.

The 10.1-inch touch screen on the XDJ-RX3 has a higher resolution and frame rate than the previous
model, featuring an interface that makes it quicker and easier to browse your music, and the browse section comes from the CDJ-3000. In addition, you can switch between viewing the pad status or Beat FX and the X-Pad with one tap on the screen. Plus, with support for the 3Band Waveform feature from the CDJ-3000, you can see the volume levels of different frequency ranges in rekordbox-analyzed tracks. This allows for a clear visual representation of how they sound.

To use the XDJ-RX3 with rekordbox Performance mode, you’ll need to update to the latest version of the
software, rekordbox for Mac/Windows (ver. 6.6.0), which will be released on November 16, 2021. In addition, from early 2022, you’ll be able to use the unit with Serato DJ Pro by updating to the latest version of the software.

MasterSounds announces the launch of Clarity A, the next generation of its Clarity audio system, building upon its predecessor’s minimalist design, manufacturing partner TPI’s military-grade heritage, and MasterSounds’ design style. When we listened to what the final product had to offer, it was an indescribably proud moment. Looking at the smiles around the MasterSounds test room, I knew we had created something truly special.”

The two Cube:6 loudspeakers and Sub:8 subwoofer run as an active system, and by adding your DJ mixer, pre-amplifier, or DAC to the inputs on the Sub:8, plug and play fidelity are available, out of the box, anywhere in the world.

First Look: Serato DJ Pro 2.5.7 Update With Pioneer DJ CDJ-3000 Support

Pioneer DJ‘s latest flagship multi-player is now an official Serato accessory via the newest upgrade to Serato DJ Pro, Serato DJ Pro’s 2.5.7. Building on the legacy of the CDJ-2000NXS2, the CDJ-3000 features several powerful improvements, including an enhanced MPU, redesigned hardware components, and a 9-inch, high-resolution touch screen. However, complete control of Serato DJ Pro with the CDJ-3000 requires using HID mode, including Serato’s colored waveforms on the display.

“As clubs and festivals open worldwide, support for the CDJ-3000 has been a highly requested feature for Serato DJs.” says Chief Strategy Officer Nick Maclaren. “We’re pleased to bring this support in Serato DJ Pro 2.5.7, with the reliability and quality our professional DJs expect.”
