THUGLI Drops Hip-Hop and R&B Edit Pack

THUGLI (Source: Instagram)

Canadian DJ duo THUGLI has just released a pack of six party-ready edits, covering a wide variety of tempos, vibes, and energies. Everything from Rick Ross and Rocko, plus Da Baby, Tinashe, Young Thug, and more, are covered.

When asked about their latest releases, Pat and Tom noted the following: “Our approach with the remix/edit pack was from a few different angles. We wanted to make a wide variety of sounds/genres/tempos and make sure that there was something in there for every DJ, whether you’re playing a big festival set or a low key club night. There are new songs that needed a bit more of a boost and old ones that we thought could use a new flavor. A little bit of this and a little bit of that. Hope everyone can find something that works for them in there!”

Stromae’s ‘Alors On Danse’ Remixed by Rogerson: DJcity Exclusive

Rogerson (Source: Rogerson)

Dutch DJ/producer Rogerson has dropped a remix of Stromae‘s 2009 dance-pop hit “Alors On Danse.” The track is available exclusively on DJcity.

Since its release, “Alors On Danse” became a smash hit, reaching the top spot on charts across the Europe. It also has been certified 3x-platinum in Belgium and 2x-platinum in Switzerland.

“The saxophone is very recognizable, so [I knew] I could easily build things around it,” Rogerson says. “As ‘Alors on Danse’ means: ‘so we dance,’ I thought, why not make it more danceable?”

The remix follows up Rogerson’s flip of Sidney Samson‘s “Riverside,” which also features his signature sound: a mix of heavy 808s and uptempo Latin-style rhythms.

Preview the remix below and download it exclusively on DJcity.
