Behind-the-Scenes: 2014 IDA World Championships


 
A behind-the-scenes video for the 2014 IDA World Championships has been released.
 
The competition took place in Krakow, Poland in December and was co-sponsored by DJcity. It featured 30 turntablists from around the world and was judged by notable DJs such as Esquire, Fong Fong, and Tigerstyle, among others.

American turntablist DJ IQ has won the IDA Scratch Battle for the second time in two years. Watch his winning freestyle above, which uses DJ Odilon’s “Spacer Loop” instrumental.
 
The battle was judged by DJs Esquire (US), Fong Fong (France), Tigerstyle (UK), Modulators (Poland), Rob Bankz (Germany), Mandrayo (Italy), and Cross (Beligum).

2014 IDA World DJ Championships Coming Soon

The 2014 IDA World DJ Championships are going down next month in Poland and DJcity is the official co-sponsor.
 
The fifth annual battle, which takes place on December 6, will feature 30 turntablists from across the world competing in two categories. The event will also feature special guests Fong Fong, Deejay Irie and DJ Tigerstyle.
