Watch: Nardwuar Interviews Cardi B
During the Coachella festival in California this past weekend, Nardwuar caught up with Cardi B for an unsurprisingly weird interview.
The Bronx rapper, whose debut album Invasion of Privacy has broken records, was not fazed by Nardwuar’s personality. However, at one point, she declined to answer one of his questions, saying, “I’m going to have a child, so I can’t tell that story anymore.”
Released on April 6, Invasion of Privacy will debut at No. 1 on Billboard 200 albums chart on Tuesday, making her the fifth female rapper to top the chart. (She follows Nicki Minaj, Eve, Foxy Brown, and Lauryn Hill.) The project also had the biggest streaming week for a debut studio album, passing Lil Uzi Vert‘s Luv Is Rage 2.
In terms of support from DJs, Cardi currently has five tracks on DJcity’s Hot Box chart.

Fresh off releasing her new single “Be Careful,” Cardi B has shared the video for “Bartier Cardi” featuring 21 Savage. The track was DJcity’s third most-downloaded song of January.
The hazy visual finds Cardi in vintage Hollywood glam while performing on a retro TV set. She also makes out with her fiancé Offset in the back seat of a car. Meanwhile, 21 Savage delivers his verse while getting tied up to a chair.
Released in December, “Bartier Cardi” peaked at No. 14 on Billboard’s Hot 100 and has been certified gold. It’s the second single from Cardi’s upcoming debut album Invasion of Privacy, which drops April 6.

Top Remixes of Bruno Mars’ ‘Finesse’
Bruno Mars (Photo credit: Instagram)
Bruno Mars‘ 24K Magic album is packed with hits. The title track, “That’s What I Like,” and “Versace on the Floor” have all made Billboard’s Hot 100, with the first two hitting the top 10.
The album’s latest single, “Finesse,” has also cracked the top 10 (thanks to a remix and throwback video featuring Cardi B). Though ’90s music and fashion has been making a comeback for a while, the track has breathed life into the track’s genre: new jack swing. There’s been a surge of interest in the style since the single’s release, including an epic mix from Vancouver’s Flipout and Jay Swing.
Below are our favorite remixes, bootlegs, and edits of the track so far. Some of them include Cardi, while others don’t.
