Recientemente se sent\u00f3 con la revista para discutir su pasado y lo que vendr\u00e1 en el futuro.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tiene un EP que ser\u00e1 lanzado en marzo:<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div>Tainy firm\u00f3 un acuerdo de gesti\u00f3n con [su gerente \/ socio comercial Lex] Borrero, un editor de 34 a\u00f1os que anteriormente dirigi\u00f3 Roc Nation Latino, en 2018. A principios del a\u00f1o pasado, Tainy firm\u00f3 un acuerdo con Interscope para NEON16, y en diciembre 2019, finaliz\u00f3 un acuerdo con WME. Ahora, el productor de 30 a\u00f1os se est\u00e1 preparando para lanzar su EP debut en solitario, <em>The Kids That Grew Up on Reggaeton<\/em>, en marzo en NEON16.<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Tainy creci\u00f3 brevemente en Norte Am\u00e9rica:<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div>Su nombre es Marco Mas\u00eds y naci\u00f3 en Puerto Rico, se mud\u00f3 con su familia a Hartford, Connecticut cuando estaba en el jard\u00edn infantil, pero regres\u00f3 al segundo grado. Sin embargo, esos tres a\u00f1os en Estados Unidos fueron cruciales: Tainy aprendi\u00f3 ingl\u00e9s, devorando la televisi\u00f3n estadounidense y escuchando a artistas como Eminem y Snoop Dogg.<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Puede haber una colaboraci\u00f3n de Marshmello pronto:<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div>Todas las casas se ven igual en un bloque residencial tranquilo cerca del distrito de dise\u00f1o de Miami: cerca blanca, lindo patio delantero, ventanas recortadas, y no hay forma de saber cu\u00e1l es NEON16, el estudio lanzado en 2019 por el productor puertorrique\u00f1o Tainy y su gerente\/socio comercial, Lex Borrero. Dentro, el s\u00e9quito de Marshmello descansa en sof\u00e1s en la entrada, flanqueado por gigantes KAWS y mu\u00f1ecas Murakami. Marshmello, sin casco, est\u00e1 en una habitaci\u00f3n escuchando ritmos con Tainy, que solo se aleja de su computadora port\u00e1til para saludar brevemente.<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Tainy fue descubierto por el d\u00fao de reggaeton Luny Tunes:<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div>A los 14 a\u00f1os, Tainy firm\u00f3 con el equipo de producci\u00f3n Luny Tunes, el d\u00fao detr\u00e1s de los \u00e9xitos de Wisin &amp; Yandel, Daddy Yankee y Don Omar, y se gan\u00f3 el apodo de \u00abTainy Tunes\u00bb. A pesar de crear \u00e9xitos con la pareja en Puerto Rico, Tainy no despeg\u00f3 solo hasta que regres\u00f3 a los Estados Unidos, donde trabaj\u00f3 con Balvin y Bad Bunny, y empuj\u00f3 los l\u00edmites del reggaet\u00f3n.<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Tainy explica la diferencia entre hacer reggaeton para el p\u00fablico latinoamericano:<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div>\u201cYou can\u2019t go too drastic when you\u2019re creating records for the Latin market; it\u2019s about expanding what their ear is used to,\u201d says Tainy. \u201cThe American market has more liberty. Hearing the essence of reggaet\u00f3n from Luny Tunes, but listening to different chords from The Neptunes or how big and full Timbaland\u2019s percussion sounds [are] and adding those pop and electronic elements [influences my work].\u201d<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u00abNo puedes ser demasiado dr\u00e1stico cuando est\u00e1s creando canciones para el mercado latino; se trata de expandir a lo que est\u00e1n acostumbrados sus o\u00eddos \u00ab, dice Tainy. \u201cEl mercado estadounidense tiene m\u00e1s libertad.
