BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra host MistaJam<\/a> has been one of the UK\u2019s leading radio DJs for over a decade. Now, the Nottingham native has stepped into the world of music production, dropping his debut single “Rotate<\/a>” on Friday.<\/p>\n

Released on Cedric Gervais<\/a>\u2019 Delecta Records, “Rotate” is a horn-driven, funky house track with dance-inducing vocals.<\/p>\n

MistaJam explained why he began producing in a press release: <\/p>\n

“Production is a big part of my history, and it feels like it\u2019s time for me to enter into unchartered territory. \u2018Rotate\u2019 feels like the right song from the numerous tracks that are sitting on my hard drive to launch my artist career with. I am over the moon with the fact that Cedric and the team at Delecta love it as much as I do. I\u2019ve been testing it out in my sets over the summer and it\u2019s worked for every dance floor I\u2019ve tried it at. I hope it works for you as much as it has for me!”<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n
