The Red Bull 3Style World Finals VIII<\/a> came to an end on Sunday night in Krak\u00f3w, Poland. After five days of battles featuring 24 national champions, it was Italy\u2019s Damianito<\/a> who took home the world championship trophy<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Damianito, who was selected as a wildcard<\/a>, defeated five competitors in the final round. Belgium\u2019s DJ Cross<\/a> placed second while Canada\u2019s Cam B<\/a> rounded out the top three. Chile\u2019s Diego Zapata<\/a>, South Africa\u2019s Ryan the DJ<\/a>, and Japan\u2019s RINA<\/a> also competed. RINA participated as the other wildcard pick while the other DJs had won their respective qualifying rounds.<\/p>\n

Each contestant was given 15 minutes to perform a set consisting of at least three genres. They were judged on originality (40%), skills (25%), song selection (20%), and crowd response (15%).<\/p>\n

The judges were DJ Jazzy Jeff, DJ Nu-Mark, Craze<\/a>, Skratch Bastid<\/a>, and Nina Las Vegas.<\/p>\n
