From Boxing Day until New Year&#8217;s Eve, Radio 1 wants to showcase the best in new and emerging talent and offer a once in a lifetime opportunity to broadcast nationally with them.<\/p>\n<p>The station is looking for those who know their way around a radio desk and have previous radio experience, be it in community, hospital, student or local radio.<\/p>\n<p>Aspiring presenters can submit their demos via the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/send\/u28383449\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Radio 1 website<\/a><\/strong> with submissions closing midnight on Sunday 27th October.<\/p>\n<p>All applicants must be 18 or over and have prior radio experience.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Anyone with radio experience is being invited to send their demos to BBC Radio 1 with a chance of appearing on their Christmas schedule.
