DJ K-Swizz competes at the IDA World DJ Championships in Kraków, Poland on Dec. 2, 2017.

The IDA World DJ Championships went down in Kraków, Poland on Saturday, Dec. 2. New Zealand’s DJ K-Swizz won the Technical category, Belgium’s The Mixfitz took the Show category, and Poland’s DJ Pan Jaras was crowned winner of the Scratch category.

At just 14 years old, K-Swizz is now the youngest turntablist to win the IDA. He posted the following message on Instagram after the battle:

“I’ve been entering dj battles & battling men since I was 10yrs old, 4yrs later I’m here & very thankful… this year I placed 5th for @dmc_world online finals, made the top 6 for @goldieawards world final in Brooklyn New York, I didn’t make it to London for DMC world Supremacy due to no funding to get my flights, I had to crowd fund 5K for my flights to Krakow Poland for @idaworldofficial …”
