Bei der Konferenz versammelten sich DJs aus aller Welt \u2013 unter anderem auch <a href=\"http:\/\/djcity.com\/de\/search.aspx?searchterm=A-Trak\"\n\n\trel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">A-Trak<\/a>, der beim &#8216;$kills vs Bills&#8217;-Panel zusammen mit <a href=\"http:\/\/djcity.com\/de\/search.aspx?searchterm=Miles+Medina\"\n\n\trel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Miles Medina<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/kayperofficial\/?hl=en\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Kayper<\/a> und National Director (USA) von DJcity <a href=\"http:\/\/djcity.com\/de\/search.aspx?searchterm=Styles+Davis\" \n\trel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Styles Davis<\/a> diskutierte.<\/p>\n<p> Bei der Diskussion konnte A-Trak durch sein langj\u00e4hriges Bestehen im DJ-Business von seinen vielen Erfahrungen berichten. Zusammen mit den anderen Diskussionsteilnehmern besprach er Themen wie das Spielen vor Crowds, die eventuell keinen Bezug zum technischen Aspekt des DJing haben, das Verlieren von Gigs an Celebrity DJs und vieles mehr.<\/p>\n<p> Nach seinem Auftritt bei der Konferenz \u00e4u\u00dferte sich der Labelchef von <a href=\"https:\/\/foolsgoldrecs.com\/\">Fool&#8217;s Gold<\/a> am Freitag auf Twitter noch weiter zu den Problemen, die Open-Format DJs begegnen und wie mit diesen umgegangen werden kann.<\/p>\n<p> Lest hier seine Tweets.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-lang=\"en\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">I&#39;m realizing how much of a hole there is in the infrastructure for DJs in North America, specifically for open format DJs. <br \/>The whole DJ business changed DRASTICALLY in the last 10 years.. and there&#39;s pockets of the DJ scene that kind of got left out. Money brings change &amp; infrastructure &#8211; like in any sector. But then DJs started becoming known for their songs and that created serious draw to other markets. Which isn&#39;t ideal (church &amp; state!). But most of us didn&#39;t need managers before. But those types of venues and clubs don&#39;t respect DJs. Club talent buyers started saying they were going back to booking open format DJs (for those who don&#39;t know that just means multi-genre DJs rooted in hip hop). We need more though. I don&#39;t understand why the main booking agencies aren&#39;t picking up more of these DJs.
