Mexico’s 3BallMTY Drops DJcity Podcast Mix

Mexican DJ/producer duo 3BallMTY, pronounced “Tribal Monterrey,” has put down a “tribal guarachero” mix for the DJcity Podcast.
The group, which is comprised of Sheeqo Beat and DJ Otto, are best known for pioneering a genre called “tribal guarachero.” The style is a fast-paced blend of traditional Mexican folk music and electronic dance music.
3BallMTY rose to prominence in 2012 when their single “Inténtalo” hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart. Later that year, they won a Latin Grammy for Best New Artist. 3BallMTY have since performed at festivals like SXSW, Coachella, and Mad Decent Block Party.
