The Samples Behind Ghostface Killah’s ‘Ironman’ Album

Los Angeles radio station Power 106 has returned with another episode of Wax Only, this time for the 20th anniversary of Ghostface Killah‘s 1996 album, Ironman.

Wax Only was created by Power’s Production Director Vin Rican to showcase classic hip-hop albums and the samples behind them.

Ironman was Ghostface’s debut solo album and is considered to be one of the best Wu-Tang Clan solo projects. It contained three singles: the Mary J. Blige-assisted “All That I Got Is You,” “Daytona 500,” and “Motherless Child.”

Watch Vinny break down the album’s samples above.
