Mr. Probz Performs ‘Waves’ with Live Band


 
Robin Schulz’s deep house remix of Mr. Probz’s “Waves” has been a staple in many DJ sets this past year. The original version, which topped charts in Europe, is rather subdued though.
 
For the latest episode of the #FeaturedByShazam series, the Dutch rapper-turned-singer delivered a captivating performance of the original with a live band. The personnel included a cellist, guitarist and keyboardist.
 
Speaking with Shazam, Probz said he wasn’t sure if “Waves” would resonate with fans but felt the need to experiment.
 
“I put out the song just to see how people would respond,” he said. “If you follow your intuition and do whatever it is that you wanna do, people are gonna listen.”
